Marsai Martin is back in the news again after making history as the youngest executive producer in Hollywood.

The 15-year-old actress and producer earlier this year inked a deal with Universal Studios, making her the youngest person to reach such feat with the firm.

At age 10, Martin proposed the idea that would become the movie Little, a riff on the 1988 Tom Hanks hit Big, released earlier this year.

After successfully producing Little, featuring Issa Rae and 2019 BET Awards host Regina Hall, it grossed $40.6 million at the domestic box office.

The Black-ish star and founder of Genius Productions is producing another film dubbed ‘Queen’ with Universal Studios.

“I am so excited for the magic I’ll be able to create and produce with Universal,” she said.

“I’m happy to be a part of that legacy. My goal is to show young women and girls that our voices and ideas matter and you are never too young to dream BIG!” she posted on Instagram.

The script of the upcoming film will be written by a British TV writer, Camila Blackett known to have worked on shows like Skins, The Newsroom, and New Girl.

Blackett will also serve as an executive producer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Meanwhile, Martin has a few other projects she’s also working on. They include ‘Amari and the Night Brothers’ which is based on a book written by author B.B. Alston. She will star in and produce the project alongside Don Cheadle.

Martin made the list of TIME 100 next 2019 and currently heads her own production company, Genius Productions.

She wants to tell more stories, with diverse casts, that people her age can relate to.
