A 20-year-old Ghanaian man was fatally stabbed by his friend after they allegedly got into an altercation over a plastic chair.
Per MyJoyOnline, the fatal Thursday incident occurred at a snooker game center in Kumasi, which is the capital city of the West African nation’s Ashanti Region. The deceased victim, identified as Kwadwo Bright, is said to have gotten into an altercation with his friend over who the plastic chair belonged to.
The disagreement was initially resolved, but the suspected attacker later reignited the altercation and stabbed Bright in the neck. The victim was pronounced dead after he was taken to a hospital.
“I heard people screaming about a young man being stabbed and rushed to the scene, only to find my son in a critical state.
