10 least developed countries in Africa

The prospects of better-developed countries are informed by good health, improved economy and good education. Unfortunately, not all African countries have these in place and thus, they suffer in terms of development and opportunities to make the life of the inhabitants better.

According to the United Nations Development Program’s annual Human Development Index, Sub-Saharan Africa suffers from one of the highest inequalities placing 31 0ut of 54 countries in the low human development category of the index. These countries are placed alongside Yemen, Haiti and Afghanistan, among others.

Here is how the bottom 10 African countries on the list performed.
