Lucky Dube
Born in South Africa in 1964, Lucky Dube was one of the most popular reggae musicians of his generation. Though his life was cut short by carjackers in 2007, his legacy and music still lives on. Dube recorded a total of 22 albums singing in English, Zulu and Afrikaans.
Some of his notable songs addressing political and social issues that deserve mention in include The Way It is, Different Colors/One People, Prisoner, Slave and Together As One.
