A 4-year-old Wisconsin boy with a seemingly sweet tooth was willing to go the extra mile to get some “justice” after he called the police on March 4 to report that his mother had eaten his ice cream.
In the audio recording shared by WCAX, the 4-year-old told dispatch that his mom was “being bad” when he was asked the address of the emergency after he made the 911 call.
“Come and get my mommy,” the 4-year-old said after he was asked what was going on. The boy’s mother later got hold of the phone and spoke with the dispatcher.
“Oh, this little one got the phone, and he’s 4,” the woman said. “No – I called the police and I just told her to come and get my mommy … and I just told her to put her to jail. So leave me alone,” the 4-year-old later said before his mom eventually explained why he actually called 911.

“I ate his ice cream, so that’s probably why he’s calling 911,” she clarified. Following the call, officers with the Village Of Mount Pleasant Police Department went to the minor’s residence to investigate the “ice cream case.”
But the 4-year-old had a change of heart when the officers arrived. “A little boy called 911 saying his mom was being bad and needed to go to jail,” the Village Of Mount Pleasant Police Department said in a Facebook post.
“When Officers arrived he said his mom ate his ice cream and needed to go to jail for it. He told them he no longer wanted her to go to jail and just wanted some ice cream.”
The officers returned the following day and gifted him some ice cream after “he decided he didn’t want mom in trouble anymore!”
It appears that the case has since been settled as the minor was appeased with a frosty treat.
