Slurred speech

Sudden changes in how a person talks also can signal when something is wrong.

Those having a stroke may find that their speech comes out slurred or unintelligible due to the portion of the brain being affected and weak facial muscles.

After recovering, some are afflicted with aphasia, which is difficulty in finding the correct words to use when conversing and understanding others when they speak, as explained by Healthtalk.
