The Western Green Mamba
Typically located in the forest belts of Guinea, Benin, Togo and Senegal amongst others, the Western Green Mamba is a leaf-coloured snake with a considerable store of white venom with which it shields itself from predators. They measure about 6 to 12 feet in length with a diet composing of rodents, birds and reptiles caught off guard. The Western Green Mamba tends to live a solitary life, relishing it’s 12 to 20-year life span in style and tact.
