The Ring-Tailed Lemur

Found on the island of Madagascar, the Ring-Tailed Lemur is an exciting creature with a fur-covered body. It thrives in the midst of a group of Ring-Tailed Lemurs called troops. Being the herbivores they are, the Ring-Tailed Lemur love to feed on fruits, leaves, bark and tree sap. One noticeable trait about the Ring-Tailed Lemur is the strong smell of its glands which is employed as a tool for communication and defence from predators. Weighing 5 to 7.5 pounds, the Ring-Tailed Lemur can live up to about 18 years of age.
