The Ancient Pont Bridge is a giant bridge built in 1928 to allow people to cross the Lagune de Cotonou creek, which separates the two sides of Cotonou, the largest city in Benin. It is the biggest bridge in Cotonou.

Although the bridge has undergone numerous renovations, its breathtaking architectural design and massive size make it the most attractive structure in the city. Thousands of tourists visit the city of Cotonou every year to see this monstrous structure floating on water like a vessel.
