The best time to grab your souvenirs from Cairo is at the markets and shopping centers where everything is relatively cheap but of high quality. The markets are open till 12 am each day and most of the supermarkets run 24/7. The cafés at the petrol stations also stay open so it’s easy to grab a decent cup of Egyptian coffee and enjoy as the crowds go about their business at night.
