Halloween is upon us, and as usual, we’ve feasted our eyes on quite a handful of innovative yet funny costumes and appearances.
Just like an unofficial competition, friends, family, neighbors and even strangers, during the course of the season, try to battle it out to claim the bragging rights as the person who “nailed it with his/her imitation.”
Over the past few years, Halloween costumes have shifted from the usually scary and spooky to more light-hearted and comedic ones.
Thanks to this evolution, people have become extra creative as there’s a wider variety of people or things that can be used as inspiration for designing a costume.
Just like every other year, black folks, hands down, kill it with their creative costumes and imitations and this season hasn’t been an exception.
Though October 31 isn’t yet upon us, some of our favorite black celebrities have, during the course of the week, shared awesome photos and videos of who they dressed as to mark the celebrations.
In light of this, your ultimate destination for global black lifestyle news, Nsuri, has rounded up some of the most creative, innovative and rib-cracking!
