Authorities in Brooklyn have arrested and charged a 22-year-old man after he allegedly tried to rape two teen girls the same day.
Per the New York Post, the first incident occurred around 1 p.m. near Ocean Boulevard and Ditmas Avenue in Kensington on Friday.
The first victim, aged 13, was said to be heading home from school when the suspect, identified as Justin Lee, allegedly tried to rape her. Police said that Lee, who was in a Black ski mask and a red T-shirt, allegedly trailed the teen to an apartment complex before he held her neck and shoved her down a staircase. He then fled the scene. Police said the 13-year-old girl suffered no physical injuries from the incident.
The second incident is said to have occurred around 7 p.m. the same day, and the victim was identified as a 15-year-old girl. Police said Lee’s attack on his second victim was not different from the first one, and it happened at the same location.
Lee was ultimately arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child. He is also facing harassment charges.
