2. Traveling in Traffic

This is probably the one Christmas tradition nobody really likes — not the traveling per se but the accompanying road traffic gridlock that comes with the season. But hey, Christmas Nigerian-style wouldn’t actually seem like Christmas without the frenzied last minute traveling, poorly packed travel cases, and of course, the traffic bottlenecks on all major roads that says it is Christmastime.

Seasoned experts say it is best to take off at least a week earlier to avoid the rush. Well, the truth is traffic or not, people are sure going to travel; for, there is no better time in the year to reunite with family and friends than during the Christmas holidays. Miss out on the opportunity to see your loved ones and you may need to wait another 12 months to see them again.
