Princess Yennenga

Considered the mother of the Mossi, Yennenga fought against the Malinkes at the tender age of 14. She was a beautiful strong-willed princess who is believed to have lived for 0ver 900 years. In her life, Yennenga once dressed as a man to escape the Malinkes, her male horseman was killed and she was left to escape until her stallion led her into the forest while she was unconscious where she met an elephant hunter who she later fell in love with and had a child called Ouedraogo, the founder of the Mossi Kingdom. It will be an interesting watch to follow the life of this princess who was led into a forest where she found love. A love that birthed a great kingdom.
