Presumed Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris held a star-studded rally in Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesday, and Megan Thee Stallion took to the stage to perform some of her hit songs.

Per Billboard, the 29-year-old rapper, born Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, opened the event, and she rocked the stage in a blue suit. She performed some of her hit songs including Body, Mamushi and Savage.

”Now I know my ladies in the crowd love their bodies. If you want to keep loving your bodies, you know who to vote for,” the rapper was heard telling the crowd.

Megan isn’t the only celebrity who has publicly thrown her weight behind Vice President Harris’ candidacy after President Biden announced that he was withdrawing from the 2024 presidential election and endorsing her.

Following the July 21 announcement, the likes of Cardi B, Lil Nas X, Viola Davis, Kerry Washington, John Legend, Shonda Rhimes, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles took to social media to throw their support behind Harris, Face2Face Africa previously reported.

With less than 100 days to the election, Harris has similarly earned the support of leading Democratic figures including Biden, former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

She is also catching up with the Republican nominee, Donald Trump, according to the latest polls.

Take a look at a snippet of Megan Thee Stallion’s performance at the rally and the response on social media.
