Following Super Bowl LX, speculation is mounting about a split between Cardi B and Stefon Diggs.
The rumors began on February 9, when fans observed that the rapper and the NFL star had mutually unfollowed each other on Instagram. This digital rift occurred shortly after Diggs, a wide receiver for the New England Patriots, experienced his team’s heartbreaking loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the 2026 Super Bowl.
Cardi B was at the event, supporting Bad Bunny during his highly anticipated halftime performance, although the two were not seen interacting publicly.
Neither celebrity has commented on the sudden change in their social media relationship, leaving fans to wonder about the status of their reported romance.

The 33-year-old rapper, born Belcalis Almánzar, danced with fellow Latinx icons Pedro Pascal, Karol G, and Jessica Alba in La Casita—a nod to traditional Puerto Rican homes—while Bad Bunny performed his hit song “Yo Perreo Sola.”
Cardi B was seen leaving Levi’s Stadium right after the halftime show, posting a video on Instagram singing a Bad Bunny song from a car.
At the Fanatics Super Bowl Party on February 7, an ESPN reporter asked Cardi B for an inspiring message for Diggs before the big game. She simply replied, “Good luck” before walking away. Fans viewed her brief and seemingly indifferent response as a clear sign that the couple was not getting along, adding to ongoing rumors of a possible separation.
Before the game, during the Super Bowl LX Opening Night on February 3, a reporter asked Diggs if he plans on proposing to the Grammy-winning artist. In response, the New England Patriots wide receiver said, “It’s on the agenda, maybe, right? Right?” He jokingly added, “I gotta get mine first.”
The couple’s relationship was publicly confirmed in June 2025 when Cardi B posted a photo of them together on a yacht on Instagram. Their first official joint public outing occurred the previous month, in May 2025, when they were seen at a New York Knicks playoff game.

The couple’s baby boy was born on November 4, 2025. His name has not yet been announced.
The rumored split comes nearly two months after accusations surfaced that Diggs had assaulted a woman at his Massachusetts home, claims he denies. According to CBS News, Diggs is facing charges of felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault, with a court date scheduled for February 13.
Additionally, a report this week from The U.S. Sun indicated that Cardi B struggled to fit in with the wives and girlfriends (WAGs) of other Patriots players.
“She’s always looking to be the center of attention, has no filter and no towel, and acts like she can do whatever she wants-and the same goes for her entourage,” a source told the outlet.
“Most of the WAGs and families don’t talk to her, don’t want to talk to her, and don’t want to be in the same space as her. They think she has no filter and isn’t fun to be around because she’s always focused on getting attention.”
