Authorities in Los Angeles are investigating Kanye West for battery after he punched a man who allegedly assaulted his wife Bianca Censori, per TMZ. The incident is said to have happened on Tuesday night, and law enforcement sources told the news outlet that the rapper and fashion designer – who is now known as Ye – punched the man in the face after he grabbed or pushed Censori.

The couple left the scene in the wake of the incident. The individual West allegedly assaulted did not need any medical attention. Police intend to contact West as well as witnesses for information about the incident.

Meanwhile, a representative for West told TMZ that “‘grabbed’ is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened. Bianca was physically assaulted.”

“The assailant didn’t merely collide into her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body, he grabbed her waist, he spun her around, and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted,” the representative added.

This recent incident adds up to other battery allegations that have been leveled against the College Dropout rapper. In 2023, police investigated a case where West allegedly grabbed and threw a photographer’s phone towards an intersection. No charges were, however, brought against him.

Another individual also filed an assault and battery lawsuit against West this year. The man alleged the incident happened in Los Angeles in 2022, adding that West hit him after saying, “I’m going to make a f***ing example of you.”
