Madagascar- Joël Andrianomearisoa

Supported by the Ministry of Communication and Culture of the Republic of Madagascar and the Kantoko Association, alongside the Revue Noire Association, Madagascar will, this year, debut at one of the world’s most prestigious art exhibitions showcasing the works of Joël Andrianomearisoa. Under the theme; I Have Forgotten the Night, Joël’s exhibition hopes to display Madagascar through the lense of art aesthetics. Born in 1977, the 42-year-old Malagasy artist lives and works between Paris and his home country. His works explore perceptions of reality and their relation to conceptions of time. With a degree in architecture, he has exhibited his works in Paris and other parts of Europe using paper, textile, audiovisual, sculpture, and architecture.
