New Hollywood-Nollywood Film "Turning Point" Coming to a Cinema Near You

The new Hollywood–Nollywood feature making all the raves in town this month  is "Turning Point". The movie is from the stables of Hencentrik Productions, the makers of Africa’s first digital 35mm picture “TWisTED”. The compelling drama is  executive produced and directed by Niyi Towolawi (CEO of HekCentrik Productions) and produced by Egor Efiok (CEO of E4 PR) and  Dr Seyi Adebayo-Olubi.

Set in New York, the plot explores ethnic prejudice amongst the various black communities in America and centres around Ade, a Nigerian investment banker who bows to family pressure to abandon his American sweetheart for an arranged wife from back home. His life is turned upside-down when the marriage turns out not too rosy, setting off a chain of events that forces him to confront his reckless past.

The movie features Nollywood heavyweights like Jackie Appiah, Igoni Archibong (Ade, the leading man), Patience Ozokwor, Enyinna Nwigwe, Ebbe Bassey, Oge Okoye and Chelsea Eze, alongside Hollywood actors like K.D. Aubert , Todd Bridges, Joe Estevez, Ernie Hudson, and Cynda Williams.
