Building on his feats in the African music industry and recent collaborations with Drake and other pop stars, Nigerian musical artist Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid is set to join American R&B superstar Chris Brown on his European tour this summer. Although dates for the tour, dubbed One Hell of a Nite, have yet to be announced, Wizkid has been named as a special guest for performances in Denmark, Germany and Holland.

The Nigerian star made a big announcement on his Instagram page stating how proud he was of ”bringing the African wave” along to Amsterdam.

Abuja-based entrepreneur Jude Akanto was quoted by The Eagle Online together with several other Nigerian fans who expressed joy over the tour announcement.

“Wizkid has really done well so far and he has raised the standards for upcoming Nigerian artists. I am truly proud of him and I wish him well on this tour,” he stated.
This is hardly the first time the two stars have worked together. Their on-stage collaboration traces back to late 2012, when Chris Brown visited Nigeria and joined Wizkid in performing his hit song ‘Azonto.’ Brown also featured on Wizkid’s first leaked collaboration, African Bad Girl in 2014,which you can hear in the video clip below.
