The line which was announced on Tuesday will include a full-coverage swimsuit, the Nike Victory Swim Hijab, the Nike Victory Swim Tunic Top and the Nike Victory Swim Leggings.

“Its sleek, innovative silhouette provides a game-changing option for female athletes seeking full coverage and a full range of motion in the water,” Nike said on its website.

According to Nike, the outfits will be available globally at select retailers in California, New York City, London, Dubai, and online stores from February 1.

This new line from Nike comes off the back of its performance Nike Pro Hijab released in 2017. The Nike Pro Hijab featured a single-layer pull-on design made from lightweight polyester in dark, neutral colors with tiny holes that make the fabric breathable and opaque.

Nike revealed that complains from Muslim athletes who wear traditional headscarf during competitions necessitated its latest release.
