Kandt House
Named after Dr. Richard Kandt, a German doctor and explorer who visited Rwanda in 1897 on an exploration mission, the Kandt House is a cultural museum located 10 kilometers from Kigali International Airport. This museum holds a wide range of ancient relics, some that are hundreds of years old. This is where locals and foreigners, alike, go to learn about Rwanda’s rich history, traditions, and values.
