The TV anchor and the Good Morning America host found a lump in her breast during a self-examination in 2007 and had a biopsy.

Her worst fears were confirmed when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. But she had a lumpectomy to remove the lump, and chemo, and radiation therapy afterwards.
