Miss Universe

The third South African to be crowned Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi got the world talking after she was crowned Miss Universe 2019. What made her victory more fascinating was the fact that she won despite calls for her to wear artificial hair rather than natural hair.

She follows Margaret Gardiner who was first crowned in 1978, followed by Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters in 2017. Tunzi’s Sunday’s triumph makes her an immediate millionaire.
