Waza National Park
Located in the far northern region, Waza National Park was established in 1934 as a hunting reserve and is estimated to cover about 1,700 square kilometers. It was named a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1979 and is known for its wide range of flora and fauna, including lions, elephants, hyenas, cheetahs, giraffes, gazelles, and more. This park is managed by the Conservation Service of the Waza National Park.
