50 Cent in October 2024 filed a $5 million trademark infringement lawsuit against New York City-based jeweler Maksud Trax Agadjani over allegations that he used the rapper’s likeness to sell knock-off chains.

It, however, appears the legal dispute has been put to bed as Agadjani, who is also known as TraxNY, issued an apology to the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper last Thursday.

Per TMZ, Agadjani shared the apology on all of his social media platforms and also posted a hard copy of the statement in front of a New York City store

“I, Maksud Agadani, President of Trax NYC Corp., am writing to express my sincere and heartfelt apology,” Agadani said in the apology addressed to 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III.

“I acknowledge that I used your name, image, and other intellectual property rights to advertise, market, and sell my jewelry products without your permission. To be clear, I do not have and never had any affiliation with or endorsement by you.”

Agadjani in his apology said that he has since “removed all the posts and videos” about the rapper cum television producer from his social media platforms and “will not engage in any further use of your name or your intellectual property rights.”

“I respect you, your rights, and your brand, and I deeply regret my poor judgment and take full responsibility for my actions. I hope that you and your fans can accept my sincere apology and forgive me,” he concluded.

Court documents indicated that the lawsuit 50 Cent filed against Agadjani was dismissed on Monday, TMZ reported. The Power star is no stranger to suing to defend his rights and property, according to HipHopDX, as his protracted legal battle with former G-Unit band member Young Buck has just concluded.
