Ampesi

Ampesi refers to boiled yam, ripe/unripe plantain or cocoyam. A very healthy and easy-to-prepare dish, ampesi is eaten with kontonmire (cocoyam leaves) stew, koobi (dried salted fish), avocado, tuna and boiled eggs.

The preparation of kontonmire and its additives is a matter of preference.
