Located in Dodowa in the Greater Accra region, the Dodowa Forest, which is also home to the Tsenku Waterfalls has a very interesting history and is a place worth visiting. The forest was the battle-field for the famous Katamanso War fought between the Ashanti Kingdom and British with its allied forces. This war marked the beginning of the end of the dominant Ashanti Empire.
