Four undercelebrated black women who contributed immensely to Pan-Africanism

The mention of Pan-Africanism is duly followed by the names of Marcus Garvey, Kwame Nkrumah, W.E.B. Du Bois amongst other prominent figures. It is noteworthy to stress that Black women are not acknowledged and undercelebrated when it comes to their contribution towards Pan-Africanism. Some women in America, the Carribean and Africa have struggled for people of African descent to achieve the Pan-African dream.

Nonetheless, Pan-Africanism would not have evolved and spread from the Diasporas to Africa without these four phenomenal women.
