The queen of visual albums, Beyoncé, is releasing another visual album next month and the Beyhive have something to look forward to from their Queen B. The award-winning musician is using her platform to lend her voice to the ongoing #BlackLivesMatter movement through her craft.

She launched Lemonade on HBO. Her Coachella concert film Homecoming was part of a three-project deal with Netflix worth a whopping $60 million, and in 2018, her Everything Is Love collaboration with hubby Jay-Z was released exclusively on TIDAL for a few days.

“Black is King” will debut on Disney+ on July 31, according to a press release from the streamer and Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment.

“Black is King” is based on music from “The Lion King: The Gift,” which was a soundtrack to the 2019 remake of Disney’s “The Lion King” produced by Beyoncé, CNN reported.

The producers have not revealed who is on the album yet. However, Queen B’s new visual album “reimagines the lessons of ‘The Lion King’ for today’s young kings and queens in search of their own crowns,” Parkwood said.

“‘Black Is King’ is an affirmation of a grand purpose, with lush visuals that celebrate Black resilience and culture,” producers said. “The film highlights the beauty of tradition and Black excellence.”

In true #Blackgirlmagic style, Beyoncé released a black anthem “Black Parade” to empower the masses as calls to end racial justice and police brutality heightened in America and the world over.
