LSU star Angel Reese recently provided an update on her relationship status ahead of their March Madness match. According to TMZ, the 21-year-old during an Instagram Live Q&A on Tuesday told her fans she’s no longer romantically involved with FSU’s Cam’Ron Fletcher.
“Yeah, I’m single,” the college basketball star told her 2.7 million fans. “I don’t got no man. Don’t attach me to no man. That’s all I’mma say. That’s it,”.
Her statement comes amid rumors that the pair had split after Reese and Fletcher deleted photos they had of each other on their Instagram accounts. But despite her current status, the LSU forward told her fans that she’s in no rush to enter another relationship as she’s currently focusing on herself as well as school and basketball.
“I do what’s best for me, that’s it,” Reese said. “I’m the catch! Let’s not get it twisted.”
On Tuesday, Reese similarly took to social media to register her displeasure over nude photos of her that went viral on the internet, Face2Face Africa reported. The 21-year-old in her initial post on X (formerly Twitter) made it clear those AI nude photos of her being circulated on social media are fake.
“Creating fake AI pictures of me is crazy and weird AF!” she wrote in her first post. In a follow-up post, Reese stated that though she’s aware of her nice looks and being supposedly appealing to others as a result, she said she would never post her nudes on social media.
“Like i know im fine & seem to have an appeal to some but im literally 21 and yall doing this bs when i would neverrrrrr,” she wrote.
Reese’s confirmation of her split from Fletcher and her response to the AI images come as she and the LSU Tigers gear up for their March Madness match on Friday. LSU, who are the defending champions, will play against Rice in their first game of this season’s tournament.
Reese is also currently averaging 19 points and 13 rebounds.
