Monroe Cannon, the 14-year-old daughter of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, took to Instagram stories on Wednesday to clear things up about her siblings.
She started, “clearing something up guys.” She said, per PEOPLE, “i only have ONE brother who is @moroccan.cannon. i do have other half siblings from my dad but they are all many many years younger than me!”
Carey, 56, and her ex-husband Cannon, 45, are parents to twins Monroe and Moroccan. The former couple had a secret wedding in the Bahamas in 2008 after dating for a few months. They, however, parted ways in 2014 and divorced in 2016.
Cannon has since gone ahead to father ten more children. According to PEOPLE, Cannon welcomed five of his 12 children in 2022 alone. His son, Legendary Love, was born in July 2022 to Selling Sunset star Bre Tiesi. In September 2022, he welcomed daughter Onyx Ice Cole with model LaNisha Cole and son Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell.

Cannon and Bell already shared two children: son Golden Sagon, born in 2017, and daughter Powerful Queen, born in 2020. In November 2022, Cannon and Abby De La Rosa welcomed daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, joining their twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, born in 2021. In December 2022, Cannon welcomed daughter Halo Marie with Alyssa Scott, the mother of his late son Zen, who passed away in 2021 at just five months old due to brain cancer.
In a previous interview with the news outlet, the Drumline star showered praises on her daughter for being there for him during the loss of his son, Zen, and also when he was experiencing other setbacks.
“My daughter, really, she’s so in tune and in line and wise beyond her years,” the 45-year-old said at the time. “I got a lot of therapists, but she’s probably my best therapist.”
Cannon continued: “She keeps me in check. She’s so pure and honest. […] She’s my oldest child. Even though they’re twins, she came out first and she lets everybody know it. She’s helped me keep it strong.”
