  1. Falling in love can make you vulnerable.   Falling in love can make you vulnerable in so many ways. You can end up being seriously wounded emotionally if you fall in love with the wrong person. If you’re not strong or mature enough to handle matters of the heart, problems in your relationship or a broken heart might break your spirit. It could make you lose your independence, and you might just find yourself being “controlled” by your partner or feeling unable to “live” without him or her. You might stupidly be doing everything to please your partner and folding your arms while the person you claim to love takes you for a ride or for granted. You don’t want to fall in love with a man or woman who takes advantage of you. Do you?If you find it hard to maintain your emotional balance, or if you don’t know how to ward off an abusive suitor or walk away if ever you find yourself in an abusive relationship, falling in love might not be best for you.
