Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson and Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo have formed a formidable partnership off the court, and it appears the couple are very keen on taking their relationship to the next level.

Per Bleacher Report, Wilson, 29, and Adebayo, 28, both expressed their openness to tying the knot in the foreseeable future when they were talking about their relationship in an interview with Time‘s Sean Gregory for Wilson’s Athlete of the Year feature.

“That’s the question I need you to deliver to him!” Wilson said in response to being asked when they’ll be exchanging vows. “I hope I’m not wasting my time. I hope he’s not wasting his time.”

And though Adebayo kept mum on when he’ll go down on one knee, he stated that “y’all will know, because people are nosy and they’ll look at her hands.” He added: “There you go.”

Wilson also disclosed that though fans thought she and Adebayo became romantically involved two years ago, they actually started dating four years prior. She also described her beau as her “lift partner,” adding that it has always been her dream to start a family.

“That is always a dream,” the three-time WNBA champion said. “This is my life partner. Honestly, what on earth was my world before you? That’s how much he’s impacted my life, my family’s life.”

While Wilson is in a good place when it comes to her love life, the same can be said about her performances on the court, as she had a very stellar 2025 WNBA season. Besides leading the Las Vegas Aces to win the 2025 WNBA championship, the 29-year-old also scooped her fourth WNBA MVP, third Defensive Player of the Year, and second Finals MVP, per Bleacher Report.

Adebayo, on the other hand, has similarly started the 2025-26 NBA season on a good note, as the Miami Heat star is averaging 19.2 points and nine rebounds per game.
