Clarence Thomas

Kudos to him for being the second Black judge to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States but this judge, lawyer, and government official doesn’t get a pass. He was allegedly responsible for sexually harassing Anita Hill back in 1991 in which Hill was mercilessly grilled for on the Capitol Hill during a hearing. Thomas saying things like “When you look at where the real problems are among minorities in our society, particularly blacks, it’s at the bottom. It’s the people who are in school systems that don’t educate, neighborhoods where there is a lot of crime, drugs, the whole bit.” And “At some point, we’re going to be fatigued with everybody being the victim, I just get worn down” in response to women coming forward with their experiences of sexual harassment really makes you cringe. Card taken.
