Mozambique gained its independence on this day in 1975 after being colonised by Portugal. Located in the South-Eastern part of Africa, Mozambique is one of the top destinations for tourists.

Bordered by the Indian Ocean to the East, its 30 million people can boast of tourist attractions including natural environment, wildlife, cultural heritage, and beaches.

While the tourism industry has been hit severely by the coronavirus pandemic, tourists are yearning to return into nature’s arms once again. To commemorate Mozambique’s independence, we take a look at the best places you can visit after COVID-19.
