From railways to cities, these million-dollar projects in Africa are paid for by China

Ghana’s Bauxite Exploration

In 2017, Ghana signed a deal with China for bauxite exploration.

“The money will come from the Chinese Development Bank. The implementation of the project will come from other agencies, infrastructure agencies in China,” senior government minister Yaw Osafo-Maafo said.

The deal is worth $10 billion and is expected to bring Ghana $460 billion from the export.
