O.J. Simpson’s debts might shrink if someone buys his unusual and X-rated possessions. Simpson’s attorney, Malcolm LaVergne, told TMZ that Simpson’s collection of prison pornography, amassed during his time in Nevada state prison, is now up for grabs.
Simpson and his fellow inmates had access to magazines like Penthouse, and Simpson’s collection is reportedly extensive.
Malcolm reveals that Simpson was an avid consumer of porn, indulging in both videos and magazines, even while incarcerated for his 2008 memorabilia theft case.
How Simpson managed to access the explicit content behind bars remains unclear, but it is not uncommon for inmates to obtain such material.
After Simpson’s 2017 release from prison, he reportedly kept his collection of Penthouse magazines but shifted to using his phone and computer for accessing free porn.
Malcolm suggests he might also auction off Simpson’s Trojan condoms, specifically Magnums.
He plans to hold the auction in early 2025, although the date is not yet confirmed.
Previously, Simpson’s attorney aimed to raise over $269,000 from one of Simpson’s homes, a small fraction of the total amount owed to creditors.
Simpson still owes a significant $33.5 million judgment to the families of his victims from the 1997 wrongful death lawsuit.
Although he was acquitted in his murder trial, he was found liable for the deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman in a civil court.
Due to accumulated interest, the unpaid debt has reportedly surged to around $100 million.
Simpson’s estate was recently hit with a $500,000 tax lien from the State of California, adding to his mounting financial troubles.
