Tabu Flo, which means chaos, mostly began dancing together in church. As the eight-member group (including Abdul Kinyenya, Antonio Ssebuuma, Viccy Namuyomba, Gavin, Abdanger, Pheel Roy, Rose Marie, and Mostrixx Faizal) grew, though, Sharing Youth Center, a public space for youth in Kampala, became their home.
These days, Tabu Flo enjoy the physical challenges of break dancing, but initially, the traditional dances of Uganda were their focus.
And while the group is yet to figure out how they can make a steady income off of their talent, outside of their practices, they invest in the upcoming generations by offering free dance classes.
Below you can watch Tabu Flo put Uganda on the map. Enjoy!
