Incarcerated Tory Lanez is said to be in ‘critical condition’ after he was reportedly stabbed in prison.
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation confirmed the incident via some outlets this week.

“At approximately 7:20 a.m. today, Daystar Peterson (BW0168) was attacked by another inmate at a housing unit in the California Correctional Institution (CCI) in Tehachapi.
“Staff immediately responded, activated 911, and began medical aid. Peterson was subsequently transported to an outside medical facility for further treatment,” the statement from prison officials noted.

The cause of the stabbing has yet to be established, but sources say Tory was rushed by ambulance to a nearby civilian hospital in Bakersfield.
The incident comes barely a week after the artiste posted a picture of his new physique behind bars and noted that his next album will be ready soon.

Tory Lanez is serving a 10-year sentence at the California state prison for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
Early this year, Megan Thee Stallion won a new restraining order against Lanez after claiming prison was not enough to end his “harassment.”

In February, Tory Lanez had his recording session cut short when a disturbance occurred inside a part of the California Correctional Facility.
Excerpts of the video, which appeared online, showed the artiste rapping through the prison telephone when the disturbance occurred behind him. He tried to continue his line but eventually had to stop and leave the scene.

The Canadian artiste announced his Prison Tapes series last year and released two songs titled Cell 245 and Wish I Never Met You, believed to be directed at Megan Thee Stallion.
Tory Lanez had said he and his engineer had found a way to record music over the jail phone and still maintain its quality.

When Megan Thee Stallion filed a restraining order on Tuesday, December 17, court documents indicated that Tory Lanez had been harassing Megan from prison through social media and utilizing third parties.
At the time, lawyers for Lanez downplayed the motion, describing it as “a frivolous request” and saying that Lanez had “zero direct contact” with the Cobra singer.
