Ugandan MPs fight in parliament

In September 2017, fighting broke out between lawmakers during a proposed bill to remove the presidential age. Several were injured in the process as MPs exchanged punches and kicks with microphone stands even being used as weapons. At the end of the day, two female lawmakers were seen being carried out after collapsing. Security personnel were called in to restore calm. Some of the MPs involved were however suspended.
