Controversial German model, Martina Big, who was born a white woman, but now identifies herself as black after undergoing a weird skin-darkening procedure is optimistic she and her white husband could have a black baby.
Martina shared those sentiments while speaking to Holly Willoughby and John Barrowman on ITV’s This Morning.
“The skin is getting darker and my growing hair is changing and getting curly and more dark.” she said.
About the possibility of having a white baby with her husband, she said the doctors gave her an affirmative answer.
“Yes [the doctors] say [the baby] will be black.”
“We’re not having plans, but I’m discussing regularly with my doctor if my body is ok, if [having a] baby is
Willoughby then interjected with a question: “And if that baby is not – because I’m trying to think how that’s possible biologically… I don’t see how that’s possible genetically.”
“If it’s not, will you feel close if you give birth to a white child, or will you somehow feel it’s not connected to you?” she asked.
“No it’s a mix of Michael and me, I’m pretty sure it will be black, or milk chocolate or a little bit lighter, it doesn’t matter.” Martina answered.
German-born Martina Big has radically changed her appearance. She now self-identifies as a “Black German.”
Beginning her transformation in 2012, Martina has had her legs, waist, and hips narrowed, several breast augmentations, lip injections and then a procedure that has caused her skin to darken over time.
In 2017, Martina officially changed her race with the German government to Black.
