Halloween is here and most people have their costumes all set but I know there are some people who leave things to the last minute and to this point have no clue what to wear to their Halloween party. Not to worry, there are a few tricks and hacks to get you a costume that will not break the bank, so you are not left out this season.
All that is required is for you to think outside the box and jump on the creative wagon with the clothes you already have in your closet. There really is no dress code for Halloween, everything and anything is welcome. So long as you are comfortable, we are good.
Here are five costume ideas you can whip up in good time for Halloween.
Snow White Halloween Costume
I’m pretty sure you have a wig somewhere in your house for this look. Throw on a wig, grab an apple and put on some ruby red lipstick. Pair the accessories with a blue top and yellow skirt and Snow White will be reborn.
Bat Halloween Costume
You will be glad you have not yet tossed out your broken umbrella with this costume. Cut your umbrella into two and hand stitch or hot glue it unto your black hoodie. The metal hinges can be fastened with a black tape, so your costume actually plays the part. Make bat ears from foam core and add some feathers if you wish for texture.
50 Shades of Grey Halloween Costume
Go for the PG version of a Fifty Shades of Grey costume. All you need are a couple of paint swatches from your local hardware store and tape them unto your black t-shirt and you are good to go. Even Christian Grey would give you credit for this ensemble.
Pink Shirt Girl Emoji Halloween Costume
Create the pink shirt girl emoji look by tossing on your pink shirt and get into character with her signature pose. Switch up the look by carrying a pair of scissors with you; play the hairdresser emoji.
Super Quilter Halloween Costume
Have you been in search of the right time to display your quilting skills? There you have it, there’s no better time than Halloween. Toss on the Super Quilter looks in this costume in your comfy clothes. Super Quilter to the rescue!
