Travis Scott will unveil his forthcoming album “the world of Utopia” during a livestreamed performance in front of the ancient Pyramids of Giza in Egypt on July 28. Tickets to the event were made available before they sold out.

“Utopia” has no release date now but Scott has made pre-orders of the album available. Per the pre-order, there will be five different album covers, though none has been made public yet. The Egypt event has been described as an “unforgettable show that will immerse fans in the world of Utopia,” according to a press release.

Utopia comes as Scott’s first full-length record since Astroworld, which was released in 2018. It also comes two years after the deaths that occurred during his 2021 Astroworld music festival. About 50,000 people attended the November 5 Astroworld music festival at NRG Park organized by Scott when the crowd surged towards the stage causing a crush that led to the deaths of several people including 9-year-old Ezra Blount and many injured, Face2Face Africa reported.

Last month, a Texas grand jury said it did not find enough evidence to criminally charge the rapper or others connected to the crush at the concert. “It is tragic that 10 innocent people were killed while trying to enjoy an evening of music and entertainment, something many of us do routinely and without a second thought to our safety. But a tragedy isn’t always a crime, and not every death is a homicide. This grand jury’s determination has no impact on the many civil lawsuits pending,” District Attorney Kim Ogg said at a news conference.
