A$AP Rocky has landed another deal as French luxury fashion house Chanel announced him as its newest ambassador.
In a statement, Chanel, which was founded in 1910, stated that Rocky, 37, aligned with the brand because of his “talent, curiosity, and limitless creativity,” Complex reported.
“Rocky is an incredible artist who puts his heart and soul into every project he’s involved in, in addition to being an incredible human being,” Chanel’s artistic director, Matthieu Blazy, said in the statement.
“Musician, actor, father, friend…he brings so much to the table and always delivers with kindness. We are thrilled to welcome him to Chanel and I’m thrilled to work together again.”
The Praise the Lord rapper, in his own statement, also showered praises on Blazy. “Matthieu’s imagination is pushing fashion forward. His designs feel both sensitive and strong, they’re grounded in reality but at the same time, always invite one to wonder,” Rocky said. “I’m so excited to see him at Chanel.”

The announcement from Chanel came after Rocky and actress Margaret Qualley were spotted in New York and filming a short project for the fashion brand. The complete video is scheduled to be released on the Chanel website on Tuesday, December 2.
In a previous interview with Perfect Magazine, Rocky touched on how he juggles career and fatherhood, emphasizing that he gains happiness from performing his duties as a “father and a partner and a loving husband.”
The 37-year-old spoke about his family when he was asked about the moments when he “experiences the greatest satisfaction and happiness.”
Rocky shares two sons and a daughter with billionaire singer and businesswoman Rihanna, 37. “I think peace really makes me happy,” he said.
“Being a father and a partner and a loving husband in my family is what makes me really, really happy. I hope this doesn’t sound cliché, and I would hate if it does, because that’s what honestly does get me going: being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan. It doesn’t matter what hat I wear that day, it’s just about being able to give it my all and do these things.”
