BILL WITHERS

Bill Withers, born on this day in 1938, is a famous American singer-songwriter and musician who performed and recorded from 1970 until 1985. He recorded several hits including Lean on me, Aint No Sunshine, Use Me, Just the Two of US and Lovely Day, with 3 Grammy awards.

Bill Withers changed the music scenery in his active years. His life was subject to a 2009 documentary film Sill Bill and he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2015.
