Boxing star Devin Haney has filed a lawsuit against his ex-fiancée, asking the court to order her to return $350,000 in items that he gifted her as they were preparing to get married.
Per TMZ, Haney, in the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles County last week, claims that his ex, Leena Sayed, has refused to return multiple expensive handbags and jewelry.
The 26-year-old boxer in the lawsuit claimed that he purchased the pricey items for Sayed with the assumption that they were going to get married. The valuables included Hermes bags, an Audemars Piguet watch, a diamond ring, diamond earrings, and other purses.
Haney said that California law allows him to retrieve the gifts since Sayed ended their relationship. He also said that he lost more than $500,000 in damages.

This is the second lawsuit Haney has filed against Sayed. In the first lawsuit that he filed a few weeks ago, Haney accused Sayed of extorting and defaming him. The lawsuit was also filed in the wake of Sayed being granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Haney, TMZ reported. The former couple share a daughter.
Mark Vincent Kaplan, who is Sayed’s attorney, told the entertainment news outlet that Haney’s recent lawsuit “appears to be an extension of his campaign to punish her for having obtained a domestic violence restraining order against him after suing her civilly for what she had to provide to the court to get the restraining order. He needs to get real.”
