Fascinating ways soap is locally made in Africa

Banana soap

Many cultures across the world make banana soap with oatmeal for the extra scrubbing effect. Oatmeal is however not as popular in Africa. The method of preparation of banana soap is similar to that of the avocado soap. The more popular use of banana for soap is roasting the peels and adding the ash to the black soap mixture.
