Harun Elias

At 18 years old, Harun Elias discovered an opportunity in the mobile phone business and started selling smartphones. In late 2013, while in China, he saw another opportunity in the trading business and decided to start an online business, Javis Collection, where he worked as a purchasing agent. The company has since grown into a global supplier of transport and trade solutions. It has 40 employees — 27 in Tanzania and 23 in China. Elias, 25, made $9 million last year.
