Denims
Your favourite pair of denims are not looking as good as they used to and you probably still feel it’s not time to say goodbye. Why not give them a revamp by creating some wear and tear for the distressed look. You can do this by cutting some portions of the trouser with a pair of scissors and fraying them out. Alternatively, you can create a distressed look by grating the portion you want to distress and using sandpaper to rough it up. Some even add bleach to the equation to create the faded look.
But if you are not a fan of the ripped or distressed look, or you are in search of something new, old denim trousers can be remade into a cool pair of shorts for the summer. The fun thing about this is that no sewing is required. Just cut exactly where you need it to be and you are good to go. To create variety, you could incorporate other fabric such as the widely cherished Ankara fabric and lace into the shorts.
